It’s one of the most powerful predators on Earth. The polar bear is a symbol of our warning planet, but above all it is a wonder of adaptation, having evolved to survive in one of the harshest climates. But now its frozen kingdom is threatened. Each year the ice recedes a bit further and summer arrives a bit sooner. For the polar bear, less sea ice means less hunting. How are they surving the year? How are the new generations faring? Over the course of one year we follow Dennis Compayre, Hudson’s Bay’s best bear guide, on a quest for answers.
